1. About this policy
Wailytics Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us when you fill in the contact form, book a call, or email us (name, company, email, phone, role, message).
- Analytics data from visits to wailytics.com. We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and captures aggregate page views, referrers, and device types. It does not track you across sites or identify you personally.
- Data maturity check responses, only if you submit them with your email for the write-up. If you take the check without submitting your email, your answers stay in your browser and never reach us.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry.
- To send you the data maturity check write-up if you requested it.
- To understand which pages visitors use most, so we can improve the site.
- We do not sell your data, ever.
4. Who we share it with
Nobody, except:
- Formspree (processes form submissions on our behalf).
- Cal.com (processes discovery-call bookings on our behalf).
- Plausible Analytics (provides cookie-free, aggregate site analytics).
- Where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Form submissions and email enquiries are retained for 24 months unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Data maturity check responses submitted with an email are kept for 12 months.
6. Your rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Contact the Privacy Officer at lachie@wailytics.com to exercise these rights. We'll respond within 20 working days.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures (encrypted transit, strong access controls) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
